Trinity College,
Cambridge.

on Saturday 17th September at 13:00 & Sunday 18th September at 0900.

HOW TO GET THERE:

A map of the surrounding Cambridge area (Scale 1:100,000) can be found here.

A map of the immediate vicinity of the venue (Scale 1:10,000) can be found here.

A plan of Trinity College can be found here.

Finding the room:
To reach the Junior Parlour, turn east into Whewell's Court (pronounced "hew-el's") from Trinity Street (down on the above plan). Turn right immediately after the first arch. Climb the open-air stairs until you are just short of the top, and then turn right into T staircase. The Junior Parlour is at the end of the passageway through the door.

GETTING TO CAMBRIDGE:

By Car:
You are strongly advised to use Park and Ride facilities as city centre parking is limited and likely to be expensive. Best sites for M11 are Trumpington (junction 11) and Madingley Road (junction 13 - no southbound access). Further information about other park and ride sites can be found here. Alternatively, there are park and ride facilities at Milton Keynes (M1 J14) with express coaches to and from Cambridge. This in the past has offered overnight parking (unlike those for Cambridge).

By Rail:
The nearest station to the venue is Cambridge (CBG) which is served by.
First Capital Connect stopping and Cambridge Express services from London King's Cross (via Stevenage) and King's Lynn.
National Express East Anglia services from King's Lynn, London Liverpool Street (via Bishops Stortford), Ipswich, Peterborough and Norwich.
CrossCountryservices from Peterborough (connections East Coast and East Midlands Trains services), Birmingham New Street (connections Virgin Trains, other CrossCountry and London Midland City services) and Stansted Airport.
megatrain.com fares from GBP 1.00 my be available on selected trains from Sheffield and Nottingham to Peterborough. Using this and rebooking from Peterborough could prove to be cheaper.
A high frequency bus service runs between the railway station and the city centre - PLUSBUS tickets are available.

By Coach (National Express):
National Express (NX) coach services operate to and from London Victoria Coach Station, Luton, Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Infrequent direct NX services are also available to Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Nottingham and Sheffield. funfare tickets from GBP 1.00 are available on-line from NX website. All coaches call at Parkside and some also call at Madingley Road (interchange with P&R for shorter walk) or Trumpington Park and Ride sites.

By Coach (Stagecoach Cross County X5): This service is to and from Oxford and calls at Milton Keynes Coachway (interchange with NX services to North of England, Wales and Scotland) and Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bedford and St Neots rail stations, all of which may be a better alternative than rail to Cambridge. A timetable can be found here. Through ticketing may be available at rail stations (to Cambridge XEC) and National Express agents. megabus.com fares are available on X5 route, but from Oxford only. All coaches call at Parkside. The X5 additionally calls at Magdalene Street, its closest stop to the venue, at 1/2 mile to the northwest. For a shorter walk the X5 calls at Madingley Road Park and Ride (this is a request stop on X5 services to Cambridge) for transfer to P&R bus services. The English National Concession pass is valid for free off-peak travel on both the X5 and P&R services.

By Air:
The nearest major airports are London Stansted (STN) and London Luton (LTN). Budget airlines Ryanair and easyJet use both airports.
