JAPAN WIN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.

A Japan team consisting of five times World Champion Hideshi Tamenori, Tamaki Miyaoka and Mami Yamanaka regained the World Team Championship they last won two years ago with one round to spare. With Tamenori on tremendous form and the Women's final being contested by Yamanaka and her compatriot Hisako Hoshi, Team Japan are favourites to make a clean sweep of all three titles. Team Great Britain finished joint-3rd, their highest position for eight years.
